🌟 Scott Sunderland
Scott Sunderland’s road-cycling career began with his departure from Inverell as a teenager in 1984. Professional racing took him through Dutch, Belgian, French, Danish and Italian teams, followed by work directing major squads. An interview before his return to Inverell in 2010 records both the international experience and the continuing home-town connection. His career illustrates the distance between regional beginnings and the European professional peloton, as well as the practical knowledge a former rider could bring to managing others after retirement from competition.
